Denis is a Senior VP and Mediator at Equanim International, a business mediation center based in France. He is also assisting as Senior Advisor legaltechs/regtechs specializing in management of risks and compliance (Smart Global Governance in France) and ESG (Novisto in Canada) and international asset management platform (Sagard Holdings in Canada).

He is a member of the Conseil National de la Médiation (CNM) where he represents businesses and in-house legal professionals. He is also Honorary President of Cercle Montesquieu (association of Chief Legal Counsels based in France) and board member of “Paris, city of law” (co-chairing their respective commissions « Justice & Economic Regulation » and « Digital & Justice »).

Denis Musson holds a graduate diploma (DESS) in business & tax laws from the University of Paris 2 (France), and an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania (USA). He is also an accredited mediator of CEDR (England) and CMAP (France) and registered at the Paris Court of Appeal.

After starting his career as an in-house international legal counsel at the Pechiney Group, he was the head of corporate/securities/finance legal department when he left in 1999. Over the subsequent two decades, he has served as General Secretary and Executive Committee member of Imerys Group, the world leader of industrial minerals listed in the French SBF 120. Denis continues to assist Imerys as Senior Advisor in the management of some special complex projects or litigation.
