Eric is an Associate Professor for the “TotalEnergies Professeurs Associés” in France.

He brings over 40 years of extensive M&A and contracts negotiation, legal and compliance experience for French multinational groups in both the construction and energy sector across the globe, including Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Eric retired end of 2022 as the Chief Compliance Officer of TotalEnergies SE, a publicly traded company listed both on the New York and the Paris stock exchanges and ranked in the top 30 of the Fortune 500 companies. Overseeing a network of 350+ compliance officers in 100+ countries across the globe, he was reporting directly to the Chairman and CEO of the group and was responsible, among other, for the design and monitoring of the group compliance programs for both corruption and international sanctions infringements prevention.

Before 2017, Eric was General Counsel of the Refining and Marketing division of the group for 15 years, supervising a team of more than 200+ in-house lawyers (50+ in-house lawyers in international and French affairs based in Head Offices and 150+ affiliates in-house lawyers in 100+ countries.).

Eric is a Senior Advisor at The Family Consulting Group.
