Xavier is an expert in Social Innovation.
Since 2018, hehas been the Director of social innovation at Famille & Provence which belongs to Groupe Habitat en Région, the second largest private social housing group in France. After practicing as an Architect for 6 years, he has been developing for more than 10 years a specific approach to social innovation which is now recognized at the national level and shared within the framework of several researches or publications. He taught as an Associate Lecturer for 3 years and in 2019 joined as a member of the project selection committee of the Social Innovation Fund for social housing enterprises (FIS des ESH) which supports the development of projects throughout France. As the Director of the Famille & Provence Endowment Fund since 2016, he develops sponsorship projects with private companies that finance artistic projects in social housing districts. Highly committed in the cultural field, he has also been the President for 11 years of the Cabaret Aléatoire in « la friche de la Belle de Mai » in Marseille (Place of artistic diffusion and cultural mediation SMAC labeled by the State Current Music Hall). He seeks to develop synergies with the actors of the Social and Solidarity Economy and in 2022 has joined as a member of the Board of Directors of the PACA Corse Regional Chamber, of the Social and Solidarity Economy. He has been interested in new models likely to develop a positive social and environmental impact of business activity and has been supporting Famille & Provence since 2020 in its evolution into a mission company. In this way, he has been experimenting with a participatory approach to involve employees in an innovative way in a shared business project.
