In this third edition, we are thrilled to speak with Eric Nolen, asking him why he decided to co-found The Family Consulting Group. Eric is the CEO of Now Partners, The Family Consulting Group Luxembourg, and the Partner in charge of the Regulatory Practice for banks. He brings over 20 years of experience in various senior Legal and Compliance roles in the financial services industry, and in particular in the banking sector. Eric: Hello Bertrand

Bertrand: Tell us why you co-founded The Family Consulting Group?

Eric: So, The Family Consulting Group is first and foremost a meeting of consultants from different countries who share similar values ​​and who want to put them into practice in a framework that suits them. So, we worked on something that allows us to differentiate ourselves from other consulting firms and also allows us to provide complementary services to our clients.

Bertrand: Can you tell us more about these complementary services?

Eric: Well, my specialty, Now Partners’ specialty, is Regulatory Consulting. And our natural market is banks and asset management companies, investment funds. We wanted to partner with people from other industries in order to develop new skills through our advice … our consultants and work on diversified topics and complementary geographies.

Bertrand: Explique-nous en fait pourquoi avoir cofondé The Family Consulting Group ?

Eric: Alors The Family Consulting Group, c’est d’abord une rencontre entre des consultants de plusieurs pays qui partagent des valeurs similaires et qui souhaitent les mettre en pratique dans un cadre qui leur convienne. Donc, on a travaillé sur quelque chose qui nous permette de nous différencier des autres structures de conseil et qui nous permettent aussi de prester des services complémentaires à nos clients.

Bertrand: Est-ce que tu peux nous en dire plus sur ces services complémentaires ?

Eric: Alors ma spécialité, la spécialité de Now Partners, c’est le Regulatory Consulting. Et notre marché naturel, ce sont les banques et les sociétés de gestion, les fonds d’investissement. On a souhaité s’associer avec des gens qui viennent d’autres secteurs de l’industrie afin de pouvoir développer des …, faire développer par nos conseils … nos consultants des nouvelles compétences et travailler sur des sujets diversifiés et sur des géographies complémentaires.
